Strip clubs granted licences
TWO strip clubs have been granted licences by Southampton City Council.
The council’s licensing panel granted sexual entertainment venue licences to For Your Eyes Only and Play House Gentleman’s Club at a hearing yesterday.
The two venues had to apply to the authority for licences following a change in Government legislation which means sexual entertainment venues must now be registered with councils.
Previously only sex shops and sex cinemas had to apply for the licences.
