WINCHESTER businesses are being offered a helping hand with their operations with new virtual office space.

Local start-ups and small businesses who lack the traditional four-walls will be able to use a Winchester address to run their business without running up the costs of renting an actual office.

Hampshire Workspace, which offers serviced offices in Southgate Street, will provide the virtual service to companies and individuals who usually work from home. The service includes use of a registered address, mail collection, despatching post, phone answering, photocopying and other administrative facilities.

Manager Julia Lewis said: “Hampshire Workspace has always tried to help new and small businesses by providing varying sized serviced offices on flexible contracts.

“We are pleased to extend that support to virtual office clients who can use our address and services but not actually work out of here.”
