Southampton-based Red Funnel Ferries has been shortlisted for two prestigious customer experience awards in recognition of the enthusiasm, professionalism and high standard of customer service provided by its staff.

The company is in the running for the best Social Customer Services Tea' and best Customer Experience Team in the London & South East Contact Centre Forum Awards.

To qualify for the awards Red Funnel had to demonstrate that its teams championed the role of customer service, helped team members grow skills and improve performance, and how they outperformed similar teams.

Red Funnel's team will now be quizzed during the final judging session by a panel of judges from the industry. The winners of each category will be announced at an Awards Gala Dinner on May 22.
