THE owners of a Hampshire nightspot will face councillors over their bid to extend its opening hours.
Stonegate Pub Company Ltd has applied to the borough council to open The Litten Tree in Eastleigh High Street from 7am, seven days a week, in order to serve breakfast.
They say extending the hours of the venue would allow them to screen films from an earlier time of the day, 8am.
The firm also wants to extend opening hours until 3.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and be able to sell alcohol until 3am on the same days.
A number of conditions have been put forward by the owners, including keeping a refusals log, not allowing entry or re-entry into the venue after midnight and ensuring that staff will receive adequate training.
Their bid will be heard by the borough council's licensing committee at a meeting on May 20.
