A SOUTHAMPTON businessman has urged other firms to invest in good quality CCTV.
Fridge freezers, furniture, tyres and commercial waste was dumped outside the back of Dee Cee Upholstery in Portswood Road leaving co-owner Derek Caplen furious.
But now the problem has disappeared thanks to new state-of-the-art CCTV cameras.
The cameras, bought from TMIPS Security, cost Dee Cee Upholstery more than £2000, and some are fitted with number plate reading technology.
Derek said: “We needed to do something because the situation was getting out of hand. Having CCTV is good for our own business security and other people.”
