FRESH Relevance, a Hampshire-based marketing hub for online retailers, has promoted David Henderson to the role of chief technology officer (CTO).

Pete Austin, co-founder of the company, takes the new position of chief innovation officer (CINO), with a remit to focus on the long-term vision for development of the Fresh Relevance platform.

David led the Fresh Relevance development team at its HQ on Southampton Science Park in and has been instrumental in designing and building the platform.

Commenting on his new role, David states: “At Fresh Relevance, we build software for the cutting edge of marketing. Our primary aim is to help marketers get awesome results by driving sales growth and strengthening customer engagement. I will continue to ensure that the feedback we receive, from our client-base of more than 250 organisations around the world, continues to provide the solid foundation which drives our ongoing development.”

As Fresh Relevance’s CINO, Pete Austin will use his wealth of experience in the market to focus on the longer-term vision of the company. He explains: “My role is to look at the pace of change in the market, spot emerging trends, understand how consumer needs, wants and expectations are evolving, and uncover new areas in which we can help our clients to innovate in the digital world.”
