Woman cut free from car

A WOMAN had to be cut from a car after an accident in Southampton last nigth.

It happened on the junction of Burgess Road and Stoneham Way at 8pm and involved two cars.

Fire-fighters from St Mary's Fire Station freed the woman, in her late 20s, from the one of the cars. She was taken to Southampton General Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
