State-of-the-art DJ equipment stolen in burglary

Thieves made off with state-of-the-art DJ equipment during a raid on a Southampton home.
Two Pioneer CD3 decks and a Pioneer 800 mixer worth hundreds of pounds were among a haul of goods stolen from the property in Mortimer Road, Peartree, at the weekend.
Two mobile phones, a laptop, perfume and a large quantity of cash were also taken during the burglary, which happened between 10.30pm on Saturday January 26 and 2.30am on Sunday January 27.

If in bed presumably they would have heard something as the burglar would have had to go round the whole house to find it all (perfume in bathroom/bedroom, cash hidden etc.) and if they were out, then at least one of them would have taken their mobile phone, surely? Sounds fishy to me.
yeah state of the art tends to be....state of the art.....not replaced by a few hundred quid.

And who said the cash was hidden, if there were in (and asleep) it is possible the phones and the wallet containing the cash were in the same place and not everyone keeps all their purfume in the upstairs bathroom or bedroom.

Most young(er) people do not usually go to bed at 10:30pm, especially on a Saturday night and as they know the burglary happened between 10:30pm and 2:30am, this suggests that the victims arrived home at 2:30am, possibly after a night out, to report what they say was missing.
I didn't say the cash was hidden but made an educated guess that any sensible person would put 'large quantities' of cash in a safe place and not left in a purse or wallet on the kitchen table. And again with perfume, no not everybody keeps perfume upstairs but an educated guess says this is more likely than in the kitchen cupboard next to the teabags.
