Body found in blazing van on Hampshire driveway

POLICE are investigating the death of a person found in a blazing van on the driveway of a Hampshire home.

Firefighters were called to Donnington Drive, Chandler’s Ford, at around 5am today and made the shocking discovery as they doused the flames.

Forensic officers were at the house until around 3pm today conducting inquiries.

In a statement, police said today: “The deceased has not been formally identified at this time. The cause of death is unexplained but is not being treated as suspicious.”

Disagree. For example, they do not know if he died of smoke inhalation or a drugs overdose. He is unidentified by law until you can 100% prove who he is. They probably know who owns the car and the relationship to the occupants of the house, or if no occupants, the house. To say that this incident is not being treated as suspicious means they probably, at this early stage, have a very good idea who is in the car and what went on here.
