A MAN has been arrested after a young girl was assaulted at a Hampshire theme park.
Officers arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of common assault following an incident at Paulton's Park yesterday and is currently in custody.
Police responded to reports that a young girl, aged about three or four was assaulted by a man who was known to her.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who was walking along a footpath from the main entrance to car park D, between 2pm and 2.20pm, that may have seen what happened to come forward as they may hold vital information.
The man is described as white, large build, around 6ft tall, with dark hair and a tanned complexion. He was wearing a dark t-shirt.
