A TEENAGER was kicked in the face by a gang as he waited for friends in a Southampton park.
Police have today released an efit of a man they would like to speak to following the robbery, which happened in Mayfield Park, Weston.
The 18-year-old victim and his friend were waiting for more friends to turn up when they were approached by a group of men and women.
One of the men, wearing a hoody, kicked the victim in the face and punched him, as his Addidas rucksack, containing his Blackberry 9320 mobile phone, was stolen.
The gang also took a Muddyfox Mountain bike.
Detective Constable Marie Greer said: “I am appealing for anyone with any information about this incident, or anyone who recognises the man in the efit, to come forward and speak to us.”
Anyone with any information should contact CID at Southampton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
