RECORD-breaking climber Adrian Hayes will give a talk tomorrow about how he conquered one of the world’s deadliest peaks.

Having already reached the summit of Everest, the Hampshire-born adventurer added the notorious K2 to his list of achievements earlier this year.

Adrian was forced to abandon an earlier attempt last year following the deaths of two fellow climbers.

But he went back to K2 several months ago to take care of what he described as “unfinished business”.

The father of two became the first Briton and only the third person to have reached the summit of the world’s two highest mountains plus the North and South Poles.

Adrian is currently staying with his mother at Netley Marsh before returning to his home in Dubai.

The talk will be at Hounsdown School in Jacobs Gutter Lane, Totton, tomorrow at 7pm. Tickets are £5 on the door.
