THERE were jubilant scenes when colleagues reached the finish of a mammoth charity cycling challenge.
A 30-strong team of staff from Lockheed Martin UK swept into the firm’s branch in Whiteley to complete their 140-mile ride.
Employees at the Solent Business Park outlet lined the road to welcome their fellow colleagues who had spent two days cycling from Ampthill in Bedfordshire via Farnborough and Havant. The group, which includes engineers and support staff of all ages, raised more than £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
