A HAMPSHIRE man who travelled to Syria to fight as a jihadi has been killed, it has been revealed.
Manunur Roshid was fighting with the so-called Islamic State (ISIS), after travelling to the Middle East from his home in Portsmouth.
Now, the committee chairman of the city’s Jami mosque has said that Mr Roshid has been killed.
He is the the third person young man from Portsmouth to be killed fighting for ISIS.
THe other two were 23-year-old Ifthekar Jaman, and 25-year-old Muhammad Hamidur Rahman, in December 2013 and August this year, respectively.
