POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a man suspected of stealing more than £25,000 from a Hampshire pub.
Officers have revealed that Stephen Tims skipped bail four months ago after being arrested in connection with the theft, which took place at the Waggon and Horses in Lymington.
Tims, who worked at the pub, was last known to be living in the Bournemouth area. A police spokesman said: “Officers have conducted extensive enquiries to try to locate Mr Tims and are appealing for the public's help in finding him.
“Police believe he could still be living in the Bournemouth area and may be working in a pub or a bar.”
Tims, 37, is described as white, about 5ft 11ins, with blue eyes and brown hair. PC Jeremy Weston, said: "Anyone who knows where Mr Tims, or has any information which may help us track him down, please get in contact as soon as possible."
Anyone with any information should contact PC Weston at Lyndhurst police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
