Dodgeball, a sport famous for people getting hit where it hurts and having a hit movie starring Vince Vaughan and Ben Stiller poke fun at it. It doesn’t bode well for the popularity of the sport but within the university circuit dodgeball participation is on the up.
The Winchester Bullettes ladies team represents the University of Winchester up and down the country and, in the case of some players, at an international level too. The mens team is called the Winchester Bullets. See what they did there?
The rules are simple to grasp: if the ball strikes you below the knee then you are out, but if a member of your team catches a ball a player can rejoin the game.
