A PROPERTY was damaged last night when it was struck by lightning.
Firefighters from Basingstoke fire station were called to a property in Wolverton at 9.50pm last night after a bolt of lightning struck a chimney breast on the top of the property and damaged roof tiles.
When they arrived on scene, firefighters inspected the loft to check if anything had set alight and ensured the property was structurally secure.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
