SOUTHAMPTON'S youngsters are being invited to take part in a free football tournament on August 19.
The Hampshire Constabulary Community Cup at the city Sports Centre has been organised by the city's neighbourhood policing team.
It follows on from previous events held to break down barriers between the police and youngsters in the city and will take the form of a five-a-side tournament.
The free event, which is sponsored by Radian and the police, is open to young people aged ten to 18 and there will be free pizza, fruit, water and entertainment and prizes at the end of the day.
Registration on the day takes place at 9.30am before the action kicks off at 10.30am.
