A SUGAR-CRAFTING group is looking to track down former members as it marks its 30th anniversary.

The Mid Hants BSG (British Sugarcraft Guild) will celebrate its three decades later this year and wants those who have been part of the group to get in touch.

They will be celebrating, appropriately, with cake.

The group which includes sugarcrafters of all levels meets at the Hilt, in Hiltingbury Road, Chandler’s Ford, on the second Thursday of each month at 7.30pm.

"This branch is renowned for fun, friendship and lots of cake, some of which have been national competition pieces or gifts for charity,” said chairman Liz Challand.

“Thirty years is a wonderful milestone and we love an excuse to bake a special cake and have a celebration, so that is exactly what we plan to do and would love to have some of our past members taking part.”
