THE COLOUR and passion of South America will be joining the event of the summer in Southampton.

Traditional Brazilian restaurant chain Casa Brasil is the latest business to sign up to Marwell’s Zany Zebras stampede that will see colourful zebra sculptures pop up throughout Southampton city centre and Marwell Zoo.

Casa Brasil restaurants are a traditional ‘all you can eat’ Brazilian rodizio experience located in Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Andy Sharp, Head of Marketing at Casa Brasil said: “All of us here at Casa Brasil feel very privileged to be a part of this colourful art extravaganza by sponsoring a zebra sculpture and helping raise the profile of the endangered Grevy’s zebra.

The multi-coloured zebras will appear along a unique trail throughout the city and Marwell Zoo, which kicks off in July."

Kirstie Mathieson, project manager of Marwell’s Zany Zebras said “We are delighted to have Casa Brasil join the Marwell’s Zany Zebras stampede. The project will bring hundreds of thousands of visitors and residents into the city. Their support is guaranteed to get trail goers samba-ing their way around the trail!”
