TWO sheds were burnt down when a bonfire in the back garden of a Southampton home got out of control.
Firefighters from St Mary’s and Redbridge fire stations were called to Bradley Green off Springford Road when the fire spread to a neighbour’s property.
No one was injured in the incident last night at about 7.20pm but both sheds in the Coxford garden were burnt out.
Crew manager Chriss (CORR) Rashleigh said: “It was a bonfire which got a bit out of control it went to the hedge and then it quickly caught fire to the shed.”
He added that there bangs could be heard from inside the shed but it was assumed that this was paints and varnishes.
Crews used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
