A HOUSE in Southampton could be knocked down to make way for two new homes.
Planning bosses at Southampton City Council are recommending that a developer is given permission to replace the property at 2 Kingsfold Avenue into two houses.
The applicant wants to build one two-bedroom house and one three-bedroom house with an additional door and an outside staircase to the front of the houses in Townhill Park.
Five letters of objection were filed with the council by residents concerned over parking and its appearance.
Officers also said the proposed scheme would not “constitute an overdevelopment of the site” saying there is “sufficient room on this spacious corner plot”.
Council plannersThe council’s planning committee will decidedeliberate the application at the Civic Centre at 6pm on June 7.
