Burglar snatches items from open window
A BURGLAR snatched items off of a windowsill in Southampton.
The opportunistic thief stole three gold rings, £40, a driving licence and other identification from a windowsill in Summers Street, after a ground floor window was left open.
The theft happened on Tuesday, July 19, sometime between midnight and 5am.
Now police are appealing for anyone with information on the burglary to come forwards.
Police are also reminding homeowners to lock ground floor windows when not in use.
