IT IS the craze that is sweeping the world.

And now Southampton gamers are working together to catch em' all at the Alexandra pub in the city.

Pokemon Go is the new force that has made people go outside to catch as many Pokemon as possible.

Group CyberJam gaming have organised a number of free Pokemon Go events around the city.

And today is the first of three events.

The next event is next Sunday at East Park and the event after is being held at the Orange Rooms.

Organisers say that Pokemon has helped to bring the gaming community together.

Owner of the CyberJam shop in Southampton, Sam Clark, 32, said that he has caught 115 Pokemon and dropped two jean sizes as a result.

He said: "Our events give people a better chance of doing well at the game because more Pokemon seem to come up when lots of people are in one place.

"Families have come along and there is a real community feel."
