Thousands cheered on their favourite four-legged competitors when a popular Bank Holiday village fair returned to Hampshire.
Families flocked to the Stubbington Fair and Donkey Derby in the village recreation ground in Bells Lane.
Crowds roared encouragement to youngsters riding specially trained donkeys in a series of heats culminating in a comedy dash to the finish line.
The fair has been held for more than 50 years and includes a packed range of entertainment, shows and 110 trade, craft and food stalls.
There were performances from the Locks Heath Majorettes, aerial gymnastics from Paradise Fitness and music from the Big Noise Community Samba Band.
More than 150 dogs and their owners competed in ten categories in a popular dog show.
