A DRIVER suffered severe leg injuries following a crash involving a lorry and a pickup truck on a main Hampshire route.

A man in his 30s was taken to Southampton General Hospital with “life-changing” limb injuries after the two vehicles were in collision on Ringwood Road, Bartley, at 3.20pm yesterday.

Crews from Redbridge, Totton and Cosham fire stations used cutting gear to free him and he was taken to hospital by ambulance, with air ambulance crews also travelling with him.
