Firefighters tackle bedroom blaze
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Southampton home today when a blaze broke out in a bedroom.
The fire started in a first floor room in a semi-detached property in Hawkley Green, Weston, at 4.46pm.
Crews from St Mary's and Hightown fire stations used a hose reel and two breathing apparatus to put out the flames.
It is believed that the occupants were out at the time.
A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service was unable to disclose how much damage was caused.
