Rush hour smash causes chaos on motorway
A MOTORIST needed medical treatment today after her car flipped over in a rush hour smash on one of Hampshire’s busiest motorways.
Part of the M27 westbound carriageway was blocked when a Ford KA overturned between Junction 10 for Wickham and nine for Park Gate at 8am.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
The outside lane was sealed off close to where four lanes reduce to three until the wreckage was cleared.
A Black Audi is also believed to be caught in the crash.
The road has since been reopened.
