TRIBUTES have been paid to a Hampshire man whose girlfriend has been charged with his murder.

Jewellery designer Elizabeth Hart-Browne, 27, was arrested after Stephen Raynor, 25, suffered a fatal stab wound to the neck at the couple's west London home.

Neighbours say they saw Mr Raynor stagger outside barefoot and in his underwear at 11pm last Saturday.

One woman tried to stem the bleeding and screamed for help as she waited for an ambulance to arrive at the property in Hanwell.

Mr Raynor, who used to live in New Milton and went to Arnewood School, was pronounced dead in hospital less than an hour later.

He and Hart-Browne are said to have been together for about five years.

The couple's two-year-old son and her daughter from a previous relationship were asleep at the time of the incident.

Family and friends have turned to social media to express their shock and dismay at his death, with one relative describing him as "our angel".

Mr Raynor's cousin, Shanna Mallet, said she was "feeling broken" and added: "Heaven has stolen a beautiful person from my family.

"My heart goes out to his beautiful little boy, best friend Blake and my auntie Marie. Such a cruel world, rest in peace our angel. Love you and remember you always."

Nadia Carson added: "It's heart-breaking. He was loved by all of us."

A fundraising website has been set up by school friend Amber Mceachran to try to raise £1,000 in Mr Raynor's memory for his family.

She said: "We all have really great memories of Steve, he never failed to put a smile on our faces."

After moving from Hampshire Mr Raynor studied business at William Morris Sixth Form in Hammersmith and Fulham.

At the time of his death he was a sales executive at Aditus Audience Acquisition Ltd in Fetter Lane, London, having previously worked as a postman at TNT Post.

Hart-Browne was arrested at the couple's ground-floor flat at Baker House in Nightingale Road, Ealing, and was later charged with his murder.

She has since appeared at the Old Bailey via videolink from Bronzefield Prison in Ashford, Surrey, No application for bail was made and she was remanded in custody by Judge Joanna Cutts QC.

A plea and case management hearing was arranged for December 7 and her trial is due to start on March 6 next year.
