Vibrant Australian duo Royel Otis will support headliners Kaiser Chiefs on the final night of this year's inaugural Summer Sessions series on Sunday June 30. 

They join previously announced acts Tom Jones, Madness, Nile Rodgers & CHIC and Sophie Ellis-Bextor on the growing lineup of unmissable acts who will take over Southampton’s Guildhall Square for the event, on selected nights from June 15 to 30.

Royel Otis, made up of Otis Pavlovic and Royel Maddell, will bring their infectious indie-pop sound to the Summer Sessions stage.

Their upbeat and catchy single Oysters In My Pocket has not only amassed over 35 million streams but also captured the attention of music critics and fans alike, earning them spots on prestigious 'Ones to Watch' lists from platforms like Apple Music 1, NME, and the Telegraph.

Their rapid ascent in the indie-pop world is marked by a fresh, fun-first approach, setting the stage for an energising and memorable performance this summer.

Ska legends Madness will perform hits like Our House and Baggy Trousers to adoring audiences the following night.

As the co-founder of CHIC, he generated chart-topping hits like Le Freak, and sparked the advent of hip-hop with Good Times and Rapper's Delight.

Nile Rodgers & CHIC will be joined by chart-topping pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor with her glossy, disco-infused dance hits. Fans can expect to enjoy Murder on the Dancefloor, which has seen a resurgence of late due to its inclusion in the soundtrack of film Saltburn.

It is currently riding high at number 2 in the official UK charts.

Indie rockers Kaiser Chiefs will bring the curtain down on the festival series on Friday June 30 with some of their huge hits including Ruby, I Predict a Riot and Everyday I Love You Less and Less.
