A hit-and-run driver who drove off after a crash whilst uninsured has been banned from the roads for six months.
David Chant admitted failing to stop after he was involved in a crash on Chilworth Road, Southampton.
The incident, which took place on December 4, 2022, involved a Ford Transit van driven by Mr Chant and another vehicle.

Damage was caused to the other vehicle but, Chant, of Suffolk Drive in Chandler's Ford failed to stop.
After attending Southampton Magistrates' Court on February 2, the 34-year-old also admitted driving with no insurance at the time of the crash.
Chant was banned from driving for six months and fined £540.
He was also ordered to pay £400 court costs.
