The latest headliner for Southampton's Summer Sessions in June has been announced.

British rapper Loyle Carner, labelled one of the leading voices in British rap, will headline Southampton Summer Sessions on Saturday, June 29.

This announcement comes from Live Nation and Cuffe & Taylor, making Carner the latest in a series of stellar acts set for Guildhall Square.

These include Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Tom Jones, Madness, Placebo, Paloma Faith, and Kaiser Chiefs performing between June 15 to 30.

Tickets will be available from 9am on March 21 via smmrsessions.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.

Known for his deeply personal storytelling and distinctive fusion of hip-hop rhythms with soulful undertones, Carner has won over global fans with hits like "Yesterday", "Damselfly", and "Ottolenghi".

With several Mercury and Brits nominations, NME Awards and appearances in global brand campaigns for Nike, YSL, and Timberland, his 2022 album "hugo" charted at number 3 in the UK.
