The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

SEAN SCOTT, 41, of Tychawen Terrace, Tonyrefail admitted drink driving a silver Ford Fusion on Calmore Drive, Calmore. He was caught with 51 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Scott was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £300. He must pay £85 court costs and a £120 surcharge. 

DANIEL PEAKE, 32, of Oakridge Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and driving without insurance on Jessamine Road. He was fined £120 and received six points on his licence. Peake must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.

KEIRON O'REILLY, 23, of Bransbury Close, Southampton admitted to driving without insurance and drink driving after he was caught on an electric e-scooter at Waltham Crescent in Southampton. He had 84 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The court heard how he is a young driver who was not aware of the requirement of a licence and insurance to ride an e-scooter. O'Reilly was banned from driving for 12 months and received a £400 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £160 surcharge.

MATTHEW STEVENS, 23, of Southampton Road, Cadnam pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after he was caught stealing eight bottles of prosecco worth £75.75 from Co-Op in Southampton. He also admitted charges of theft from a motor vehicle, breaching a criminal behaviour order and two counts of fraud by false representation after he tried to use someone else's bank card in Portswood Road.  Stevens received a one-year community order with a mental health treatment requirement and up to five rehabilitation days. He must also pay a £50 fine.

GREGOR ANDERSON, 45, of Radstock Road, Southampton admitted theft from a shop after £16.95 worth of wine was stolen from a shop on Bridge Road. He was ordered to pay £16.95 compensation and a £40 fine. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £16 surcharge.
