A man from Bursledon has been charged with a string of shoplifting offences.
Hampshire Police said Richard Charles Brown, of Silver Birches, was arrested on Wednesday morning, April 17.
The charges relate to a spree of shoplifting offences, that took place from Southampton stores in March and April this year.
The 53-year-old is alleged to have committed shoplifting offences at One Stop, on Portsmouth Road in Bursledon, Co-op on Portsmouth Road in Southampton and Co-op on Spring Road in Southampton.
Brown appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
