A THIEF with a taste for snacks, stole crisps, fizzy drink and chocolate when he broke into a Basingstoke café.
The goods were stolen from the New Horizon Catering Company in Priestley Road, Houndmills, at around 10.15pm on Monday.
Along with 15 chocolate bars, the 6ft thief also made off with 30 cans of drink and 15 bags of crisps.
PC Dan Carter of the Basingstoke Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “We want to hear from anyone who witnessed this burglary or anyone with any information about it.
“Somebody must know who was responsible, if you have any information please contact us as soon as possible.”
The man was described as aged between 20 and 25, of thin build and wearing light coloured clothing with a hooded top with the hood up. He was also carrying a rucksack.
