A MAN will this morning appear in court charged with the murder of Hampshire mum Pennie Davis.

Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed abode, is accused of murdering Pennie on Tuesday, September 2.

He is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court on this morning, after being charged on Saturday afternoon.

On Friday, a 28-year-old woman from Hythe who was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder has been released on bail until Monday, November 3, pending further enquiries.

Leanne Doyle, 24, of Beech Crescent, Hythe, was charged on Monday with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice. She has been bailed and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on October 1.

A 22-year-old man, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail, while a 37-year-old man held on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been bailed.

As previously reported by the Daily Echo, supermarket worker Pennie, from Blackfield, left work in her dark Toyota Land Cruiser to go and tend to her horses in Leygreen Farm near Beaulieu, where she was found dead later that afternoon.

She suffered multiple stab wounds.
