TWO PEOPLE arrested in connection with the killing of mum of five Pennie Davis have been released with no further action to be taken against them.

Officers have this afternoon confirmed that a 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were released earlier today following their arrest on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A third person, a 46-year-old man, also arrested yesterday on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been bailed by police until October 23, pending further enquiries.

Their arrests came as Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed abode, appeared for the first time at Winchester Crown Court yesterday afternoon, charged with the 47-year-old's stabbing.

Supermarket worker Pennie, 47, was found dead in a paddock at Leygreen Farm near Beaulieu on Tuesday, September 2, by her husband. A post-mortem revealed she had died from multiple stab wounds.

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

She has been released on bail until Monday, November 3, pending further inquiries.

A 22-year-old man, previously arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail, while a 37-year-old man held on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been bailed.
