A 27-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman have now been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder nurse Rui Li.

Miss Li, 44, died of head injuries and her body was found in the boot of a car in Bournemouth in May.

Earlier this month, police taped off part of Ringwood as they searched for the weapon used to kill Miss Li.

Her husband Pierre LeGris, 60, of Burnham Drive, Bournemouth was charged with murder and is currently in custody awaiting trial. He is also charged with bigamy.

Now his son Jonathan, age 27, and his other wife Irene Erosa Smith, 66, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder Miss Li.

In a statement Dorset Police today said: “A 27-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and are currently helping the police with their enquiries.”
