Patient dies at mental health unit sparking investigation
AN investigation has been launched after the death of a patient at a Hampshire mental health unit.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the sudden death of a 30-year-old man whose body was found at Ravenswood House, in Fareham.
They are not treating the death as suspicious.
The facility, in Knowle, Fareham, is a medium secure unit which provides care and treatment for adults with serious mental illness.
Southern Health NHS Trust, which runs the unit, confirmed a patient had died and that it was offering support to their family and working with the police.
