POLICE are hunting the driver of car after a hit and run involving a teenager girl.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after the 14-year-old was “clipped” by a small blue hatchback type car which had a loud exhaust.
Despite hitting the girl, the car, which had four people inside, failed to stop.
The incident happened as the girl was crossing Falkland Road, near to the junction of Belmont Road, in Chandler’s Ford, at about 6.30pm.
The car was travelling from Chestnut Avenue direction, heading towards Leigh Road.
The youngster suffered minor injuries to her leg.
