Couldn't care less how other people perceive Saints and likewise couldn't care less about their clubs either!

Northern football writer can't stand the thought that his team is not even top 4 anymore! With Everton and Spurs raising their game, Liverpool are not even top 6 and now he has to face the fact that there is a chairman and a club down here that aims to get in amongst them and increase the competition!!

That said, I do reserve the right to buy my risotto rice from Waitrose. I know everyone assumes that all rice is the same but there's a certain... je ne sais quoi about Waitrose rice that brings an added creaminess to any risotto and brings it up to the standard you'd expect to find in a fairly decent restaurant. (Adding a decent balsamic to your rocket also helps, obviously.)

But he has to start producing on the pitch to convince most and he is yet to do that convincingly. I am not knocking the fella, I would love him to start banging in goals or assisting but he has to offer more direct threat for most..... my gut feeling is that he will have a quiet 12/13 season, but will stay and will be influencial next season. For me he is still a rough diamond. But I understand why many do not agree with me and its not because they know nothing about football....

Personally I'd recommend anywhere in Chorlton or leafy Didsbury Village (which is mainly full of well-to-do City fans so they'll probably buy you a pint). Failing that, come round my house.
