Dani Osvlado opened his account for Inter Milan with two goals in Sunday’s 7-0 win against Sassuolo in Serie A.
The striker, who is on loan from Saints, was handed a first start for his new club, netting in the 43nd and 72rd minutes at the San Siro.
Osvaldo, 28, has already doubled the total number of league goals he scored while he was with Juventus during the second half of last season.
The Italian international also came up against former Saints loanee Saphir Taider yesterday.
The midfielder was introduced as a half-time substitute by Sassuolo.
Taider joined Saints in the summer from Inter, but had his loan spell cut short after less than a month.
