Saints fans were among the best behaved in the Premier League last season.
Only Norwich City (four) and Swansea City (nine) had fewer supporters arrested than Saints (14) during the 2013-14 season, according to statistics released by the Home Office.
They were made for public disorder (seven), alcohol offences(two), violent disorder (one), missile throwing (one), pitch incursion (one), use or possession of fireworks or flares (one) and breach of a banning order (one).
Eight of the arrests were made at home matches.
The clubs with most fans arrested were Manchester United (112), Manchester City (71), Arsenal (67), Sunderland (62), Liverpool (58) and Chelsea (56).
Saints have also had fewer banning orders imposed against risk supporters than most Premier League clubs over the last year.
Only Swansea (one), Leicester (one), Aston Villa (one) and West Brom (two) had fewer supporters banned than Saints (four) between September 21, 2013 and September 3, 2014.
