HOCKEY: Brodie Fairchild converted a second-half penalty corner to give Trojans ladies a 2-1 win over Investec EH Western Conference rivals Cheltenham.
Kewley Mccaskill fired Trojans into a 24th minute lead, which Cheltenham wiped out soonafter.
But Fairchild’s second half strike proved a winner.
Former Trojans striker Amy Sheehan, now teaching in Oxford, scored twice as Slough thumped Stourport 4-0 to record a second win.
Newly promoted Salisbury lost 4-2 to Plymouth Marjon in their opening West Leagye game at Bemerton.
