1958 – Saints 3 (Livesey, Page, Roper) Notts County 0.
Saints stormed into a 2-0 lead inside the first 16 minutes with goals from Charlie Livesey and John Page.
Don Roper added a third shortly after half-time to keep Saints fifth in the Division 3 South table, just two points behind leaders Reading.
1966 – Saints 4 (Chivers, Webb, Davies, Melia) Sheffield Wednesday 2 (Ford, Eustace).
Three goals in the opening eight minutes from Martin Chivers, David Webb and Ron Davies put Saints in cruise control against the Owls.
David Ford pulled one back for the visitors on the half-hour mark, but Jimmy Melia restored Saints’ three-goal advantage before the break.
Peter Eustace replied from the penalty spot for Wednesday with two minutes remaining as Saints climbed to tenth in Division One, level on points with the Owls.
1969 – Saints 2 (Davies, Paine) Rosenborg 0.
After losing the first leg of their Inter Cities Fair Cup tie 1-0 in Norway, Saints overturned the deficit to reach the second-round thanks to goals from Ron Davies and Terry Paine either side of half-time.
With the away goal rules permitted, Saints survived a late rally from Rosenberg with six minutes of stoppage time after Davies missed a 67th minute penalty.
1994 – Saints 3 (Maddison, Ekelund, Dowie) Ipswich Town 1 (Marshall).
It took until the 53rd minute for Neil Maddison to give Saints the lead against the Tractor Boys, with Ronnie Ekelund doubling the advantage after 65 minutes.
Ian Marshall pulled a goal back to set up a tense finale, but Iain Dowie wrapped up all three points in the 90th minute .
Victory helped Southampton climb into the top half of the Premier League in eighth, with Ipswich falling to 15th en route to eventual relegation.
2011 – Saints 4 (Lambert 2, Do Prado, Holmes) Watford 0.
Saints established a two-point lead at the top of the Championship after strolling to their fifth consecutive home victory of the season.
Rickie Lambert scored twice from the penalty spot before watching Guly Do Prado and Lee Holmes double the tally against the Hornets.
Saints went on to finish second, winning automatic promotion to the Premier League.
