Eastleigh have completed a couple of busy days in the transfer market with attacking midfielder Dan Walker arriving on loan from Vanarama Conference rivals Braintree Town.

The 24-year-old, formerly of Luton Town, Eastbourne Borough, Southport and Hereford United, follows Harry Pell into the Spitfires fold after his arrival from AFC Wimbledon on Thursday.

The loan deal will see the attacker, who has also played for Cambridge United, stay at the Silverlake Stadium until the end of the season.

"Looking forward to starting my loan with @eastleighfc today," Walker tweeted, before Eastleigh's match with Kidderminster was postponed today.

Walker's arrival will offset the departure of a popular figure on Stoneham Lane, Yemi Odubade, after a temporary deal was confirmed with Woking yesterday.

Odubade will look to give some fresh impetus to a Cards side that haven't won since early December in the Conference and have slipped away from the play-offs.

The winger arrived on the south coast in May 2013 after spells at Gateshead, Yeovil Town, Stevenage and predominantly Oxford United, where he made more than 100 appearances.

He went on to help Richard Hill's side win the Skrill Conference last term, but has found chances few and far between this term.
