HAMBLE Club now have a massive SEVEN games in hand on Hampshire Premier League top flight leaders Baffins Milton Rovers.

The Portsmouth side defeated QK Southampton 3-0 at the weekend while Hamble’s trip to second placed Liphook was postponed due to snow.

Baffins certainly left it late to beat QK to stretch their lead to seven points.

Tyler Moret opened the scoring in the 86th minute, before the same player added a second in the first minute of injury time.

Lenny Burney then struck a third in the third minute of injury time.

Hamble are now eight points adrift of Baffins, but have those seven games in hand.

Perry Harding and Tom Mason both netted twice as Bush Hill won 4-3 at Fleetlands.

The hosts went ahead through Zac Gill before Harding and Mason both scored once in each half.

Dave Cotter and Jack Hutchings were on target as Stockbridge won 2-1 at rock bottom Locks Heath, Marc Holland replying.

Three Toms were on target as Otterbourne defeated visiting Liss 3-2.

Tom Ashton, Tom Wright and Tom Sands were all on target.

AFC Stoneham wasted a chance to close the gap on the top three when they lost 1-0 at Paulsgrove, Aiden Hatton netting two minutes into the second half.

Ashley Hewer bagged a second half leveller as Cadnam drew 1-1 at Hayling in the only Hampshire Premier League second tier game to survive the arctic blast.
