JAI Reason, one of the jewels in Eastleigh’s crown, has pledged his future to the Silverlake Stadium for another two years.

The gifted midfielder is one of the latest batch of three players to have committed to the Vanarama National League (Conference) club along with Will Evans and goalkeeper Lewis Noice.

Reason, 25, has enjoyed an impressive first season in non-League's top flight, picking up a player-of-the-month award from sponsors Vanarama en route to the play-off semi-finals.

Originally signed from Braintree Town in May 2012, he was one of few players kept on by manager Richard Hill when he took over the reins from Ian Baird later that year.

Reason has appeared 165 times for the club and has 61 goals to his credit.

He has signed a two-year deal which will keep him with the Spitfires until the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

The versatile Evans has penned a new one-year deal after impressing at centre-back and full-back in the season just gone.

The 23-year-old ex-Hereford and Swindon Town defender has so far appeared 78 times in two years with the club, scoring twice.

Goalkeeper Noice, a 19-year-old product of the Spitfires youth system, has also signed on for another year.

Noice, understudy to Eastleigh No1 Ross Flitney, spent the latter end of last season on loan to Hellenic League side Abingdon United. He has seven first-team appearances under his belt, just one of them in the league.
