SAINTS have announced that six players - including Artur Boruc and Jos Hooiveld - are being let go by the club.

The annual released list also features Cody Cropper, Omar Rowe, Jake Sinclair and Chris Johns.

All six players see their contracts expire this summer, and have been informed they will not be offered new ones at St Mary's.

Both Boruc and Hooiveld had been loaned out by Saints this season, with it being clear for some time that they would be allowed to leave when their deals expire.

Goalkeeper Boruc, who helped Bournemouth achieve promotion to the Premier League this season, made 50 appearances for Saints, after arriving on a free transfer in September 2012.

It has been announced today that he has already agreed a one-year deal with the Cherries.

Centre-half Hooiveld, who has been on loan at Norwich and Millwall this term, ends his Saints career having played 77 times for the club, scoring nine goals.

Additionally, Dan Demkiv, Mark Irvine, Niall Mason and Chris Regis have left the club at the end of their two-year scholarships.

A Saints statement said: "The club wishes every departing player the very best of luck for the future, and thanks them for their efforts and service during their time at Southampton."
