FOREST Green Rovers have signed Stevenage Borough’s former Eastleigh and Reading striker Brett Williams on loan until the start of January.
The Southampton-born 27-year-old has made 17 appearances for Stevenage this season, including seven starts in League Two, scoring twice.
Prior to joining Stevenage in the summer, Williams – who played for Winchester City and AFC Totton in his youth – spent two seasons in the National League with Aldershot Town, bagging 36 goals in 77 appearances.
He made his Forest Green debut earlier this week in a 2-1 Gloucestershire Senior Cup win over Bristol City.
